Fire Crews Drilling At Old Grove Tavern
Firefighters are cutting some holes in the roof for training.
The crew from ladder 5 brought up several different saws.
Firefighters get a chance to practice skills before the Grove makes way for Popeye’s.
It’s not a fire, just a drill as Everett Firefighters work with cutting tools on the roof of the Old Grove Tavern.
The tavern, at 6500 Evergreen Way is coming down to make way for a Popeye’s Fried Chicken restaurant.
Everett Fire crews take advantage of drilling on “real world” buildings whenever they can and this is a great training opportunity.
