Police were first taken to the location of the victim April 7th

Tonight Everett Police announced a 49-year-old Everett woman has been arrested for criminal solicitation and 1st degree murder in the killing of David A. Webster. On April 14th 46-year-old James D. Archer was booked into the Snohomish County Jail on suspicion of murder in Webster’s death.

Everett Police Sargent Maryjane Hacker tells MyEverettNews.com that detectives had been skeptical that Archer acted alone. After further investigation and another interview with the 49-year-old woman, she was arrested not only for 1st degree murder, but also criminal solicitation for trying to have a different person kill Webster. The motive appears to center around revenge over a drug deal. The woman was booked into the Snohomish County jail about 6:45 PM today and is expected to make her first court appearance on Monday. At that time more details should become available.
