Pedestrian Seriously Injured Crossing Evergreen Way Mid-Block in South Everett
There is no crosswalk where the man tried to go across five lanes.
A pedestrian was seriously injured when he tried to cross Evergreen Way just south of Wal-Mart Saturday afternoon.
Around 2:15 PM a silver Kia was northbound on Evergreen in the 11400 block near Panda Express and Wal-Mart when it struck a man.
Everett Police Traffic Investigators were called to the scene and northbound traffic was delayed for the investigation for about 45 minutes. The preliminary report from the police said the man crossing was not in a crosswalk and the driver in the crash stayed and was cooperating.
The pedestrian was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center with serious injuries.
