Scooter Turns To Fire Ball At Everett Gas Pump

It was lucky no one was hurt after a scooter burst into flames at the gas pumps at Pecks Drive and Evergreen Way Thursday evening. The driver had just filled his tank when something went wrong. Heavy black smoke was pouring from the scooter which was about 6 feet from the gas pumps when Everett Fire crews arrived. Engine 5 was able to contain the fire and quickly get it out.
