Forecast Cancels Everett Events

Editor’s Update 2:30PM: The Port of Everett just advised Saturday’s Salmon for Soldiers fishing derby has been cancelled but the barbecue will continue.

With the forecast calling for rain and thunder showers, the City of Everett has cancelled the finale of Cinema Under the Stars tonight at Silver Lake Park in south Everett. The city has also decided to cancel the Music at the Marina show Saturday night featuring 20 Riverside on the Everett waterfront next to Lombardi’s. The city hopes to re-schedule both events at a later date.
