Woman Seriously Assaulted At North Everett QFC

Everett Police this afternoon detained several people and arrested one after a woman was assaulted in the parking lot of the QFC at Everett and Broadway. Around 3:00pm, people began calling 9-1-1 and reporting a man holding down a woman in the parking lot and hitting her in the face. Reportedly as the suspects were leaving a citizen tried to block their car in until police could get to the scene. Several Everett Police units arrived and one southbound lane of Broadway was blocked off for about 30 minutes while police tried to sort out who did what. In the end the victim was taken to the hospital and one person was arrested. At the time these pictures were taken no additional details were available.
