Man Shot in North Everett

Editor’s update Sunday June 7th 11:30am: Everett Police this morning released the following information on this case…Assault & robbery in the 1600 block of Baker Ave

Two men are riding with a friend to meet another male nearby. When they meet up, an argument breaks out and the male pulls out a gun. He shoots one man then holds the gun to a second man’s head while taking his jewelry. The male runs away and the men drive to the hospital. The wounds are not life threatening.


At this time, detectives are working to identify the male. He is described as white, 6′ tall and wore a matching hat and jersey from a basketball team whose colors have a white background with orange and blue lettering.

Everett Police are looking into a shooting this morning in north Everett.

Everett Patrol Officers and Major Crime Detectives are investigating after a man reported being shot this morning in north Everett. Just before 10:30 a man reportedly walked into a small grocery store on 16th street and asked the clerk to call 9-1-1. The man then walked back out. Arriving officers started a search for the man when about 20 minutes later they got a call from Providence Regional Medical Center of a man who had been brought in with a gunshot wound. Everett Police Spokesman Aaron Snell tells MyEverettNews.com that major crimes detectives were called out to interview the man and at this point the case is under active investigation with no further information available. We’ll provide an update as details are released.
