Man Fleeing From Marysville Police Crashes Thru 529 Construction Site Over Snohomish River

The Everett Police Traffic Investigations Unit was called out last night to the construction zone on southbound 529 at the Snohomish River Bridge. Shortly after 10:15pm Marysville Police began chasing an SUV south through their city. It left Marysville southbound on 529 at a high rate of speed and headed into Everett, running thru the closed signs on the highway, crashing into multiple vehicles and narrowly missing workers on the bridge. The driver jumped out of the SUV and ended up almost running off the open end of the bridge into the Snohomish River. He was reportedly tased by Marysville officers before finally being taken into custody.
