Wednesday July 23rd UPDATE: Everett Police have released the following picture taken showing what Ethel O’Neil was wearing when she was last seen. Please share and continue to keep an eye out for her or her baby blue Chevy Nova. WA license # ADP6803.

The State Patrol issued an Amber Alert today for 89-year-old Ethel O’Neil. O’Neil is listed with the Endangered Missing Person Advisory (EMPA) through the Washington State Patrol.

Community tips indicate O’Neil was last seen in the Lake Stevens / Marysville area on Wednesday afternoon where she asked for a map and directions back to Everett. Additional information indicates she was not in Thurston County (Olympia / Lacey) area over the weekend. Detectives are focusing on the Snohomish County area.

    There is NO EXCUSE. How hard is it to post an amber alert? Unbelievable and where is the sense of urgency???? She’s 89 years old and the sweetest most gentle person you could ever know. I’m livid at the lack of response from the Everett Police Department. no excuse!!!!!
