Persistent Fog Horn Coming From Massive Ship at Naval Station Everett

Back in July, the USNS Montford Point arrived in Everett to undergo testing. The ship is the Navy’s first mobile landing platform. This week people have been reporting the repeated sound of fog horns coming from Naval Station Everett. MyEverettNews.com checked with spokesperson Kristin Ching at the Navy base and she confirmed the sounds are coming from the Montford Point which is undergoing inspection. Expect to hear the horn on and off this week, but only during the day.
