Outside sceneOne man was hit and a suspect taken into custody after multiple gunshots were fired outside of 1805 Tailgators Bar on Hewitt early Sunday morning. Everett Police Lt. Ted Olafson tells MyEverettNews.com police received reports of multiple shots fired at 1:57am. Arriving officers located a male victim, believed to be in his 20s next door to the bar. He was suffering from non-life-threatening wounds and was taken by aid car to an Everett Hospital. Just down the street other arriving officers found a male suspect in his 30s and took him into custody. Olafson says officers did recover a gun and initial reports are that the victim was hit by random gunfire and not specifically targeted. Nearly a dozen orange traffic cones covered spent shell casings in front of the bar and next door in front of the Commerce Building. Major Crime Detectives are on scene processing evidence and interviewing the suspect, victim and witnesses.
