Northbound I-5 Traffic in Everett is Gridlock Thursday Afternoon

Posting this on our main site in addition to our Twitter feed as traffic northbound thru Everett is at virtual gridlock due to an accident at 41st I-5 around 3:00pm. As of 4:25pm traffic on all of the northbound arterials including 19th Ave. SE, Broadway, Evergreen and Beverly Blvd-Colby are crawling from Silver Lake north thru Everett. Wet roads and impatience have led to several fender benders in the backup. It’s going to be slow going from Everett to Marysville for most of the afternoon.
