Update: 10:30am: Here’s the official word from Everett Fire:
Everett Fire Department crews were dispatched to the 10000 block of Holly Drive at about 9:00 a.m. this morning for a reported apartment fire. Crews arrived to find flames and smoke coming from a second floor apartment, and burning up into a third floor apartment. A second alarm was called to bring more crews to the incident. Residents exited their apartments safely and crews extinguished the flames. One person was evaluated for smoke inhalation but declined further evaluation or treatment. Two dogs were given oxygen to speed their recovery from smoke inhalation.
The damage to the building is estimated at $200,000. There were no injuries to firefighters. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Everett Fire Crews are mopping up from a two-Alarm Fire at Covington Farms on Holly Drive. Here are a few early photos. More to come along with updates.
