The United Way of Snohomish County is looking for volunteers in several areas to support its operations. According to Neil Parekh, Vice President of Marketing and Communications, United Way of Snohomish County relies on volunteers to set funding priorities, allocate program grants, provide administrative oversight and build its annual legislative agenda.
Volunteers are currently needed to serve on the Audit Committee, Board of Directors, Marketing Committee, Public Policy Committee, Kids Matter Vision Council, Families Matter Vision Council, Community Matters Vision Council and Endowment & Planned Giving Committee.
More information and a Volunteer Inquiry Form are available online by clicking here. United Way staff members will review the volunteer inquiries and schedule interviews with eligible applicants.
Potential volunteers are also encouraged to attend an Open House at United Way of Snohomish County’s offices at 3120 McDougall Avenue, Suite 200 in Everett on Tuesday, Oct. 16 from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m.
At the event, you’ll be able to meet current and past volunteers, board members and staff leads to learn first-hand what it’s like to be a United Way Volunteer.
