The Everett City Council is set to vote tomorrow night on amending the city’s zoning code to allow Providence Regional Medical Center to display three 15 foot tall illuminated crosses on the new medical towers at Colby Campus. Here’s a YouTube Video describing the medical tower.
The city’s Planning Commission has already given its approval subject to several requirements including the signs be backlit and not internally illuminated, only the cross and not the name Providence be illuminated and the signs are built as displayed on the attached exhibits submitted by Providence. You can see the full Everett City Council agenda item by clicking here. If you’d like to comment before the vote, you need to be at the Everett City Council meeting tomorrow night, 6:30pm at 3002 Wetmore in downtown Everett.
