Downtown Everett

Majestic Cafe to take over former Flying Pig location at 2929 Colby.

I talked to Scott Lord this week and he confirmed that after 6 years at 1409 Hewitt Avenue, his restaurant, The Majestic Cafe will move up to Colby and take over the Flying Pig location. He plans to be fully open there on June 1st but will open with a limited menu to support the Cruizin’ to Colby Car Show Memorial Day Weekend.

In addition to dinner, the new Majestic Cafe will serve lunch Monday – Friday and brunch on Saturday and Sunday. You can also expect live jazz as they are bring the piano back out. Why the move? Scott says it’s the right place at the right time and he’s excited about the new Courtyard Hotel by Marriott coming downtown and other changes to the city’s core.
