Everett Police major crime detectives have spent the better part of the morning going over a site in the 4300 block of Colby at the far north end of the Interurban Trail. Everett Fire and Police were called to a report of a body found in that area around daylight

this morning. Everett police have confirmed that a body was found and has been turned over to the Snohomish County Medical Examiner. Everett Police Spokesman Aaron Snell says in their press release that the body is that of a female and it does not appear foul play was involved. It will be up to the ME to determine the cause and manner of death. We’ll let you know more as soon as the Medical Examiner’s office releases their findings.

Major Crimes Detectives Investigate After Man’s Body Found Behind Home in Everett

Everett Police are investigating a suspicious death at this house on Madison Street

Everett Police were called to a vacant home at 22 W. Madison street last night after a neighbor reported seeing a man’s body in the back yard. After a quick examination, patrol officers called out the Everett Police Major Crimes Unit. There are few details, just that the body is that of a male somewhere in his mid-20s to 30s and had some apparent trauma. The house there is empty of furniture and had apparently been vacant for some time. The Snohomish County Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death as well as an identification of the victim. The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office has more questions than answers after a body was found along one of the main routes to the Everett Boeing Plant. Here’s the release from Snohomish Sheriff’s Spokesperson Rebecca Hover…

Snohomish County Sheriff’s detectives are investigating a case involving a badly decomposed body found in some brush on Airport Road between Beverly Park Road and 112th St. SW in south Everett.
The body was discovered shortly after 2 p.m. today by brush cutters trimming near some power lines. The body possibly has been there for months. It’s so decomposed it hasn’t been determined yet whether it’s a man or a woman or how the person might have died. Detectives aren’t aware of any missing person cases right now that this could be linked to.

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office will conduct an autopsy to determine cause and manner of death as well as identification. There are no additional details to release at this time.
