EPD says this man was taken into custody today by Tacoma police.
Everett Police Major Crime Detectives are releasing that based on their investigation and tips received from Crime Stoppers, probable cause was developed to arrest a male in connection to the kidnapping of a female student and the robbery of a Wells Fargo Bank on January 23, 2013. The male’s identity was established and the Tacoma Police Department took him into custody at about 11:30 a.m. today.
The male is identified as Bereket M. Piatt, a 20 year-old Everett man. Detectives plan to book him into Snohomish County Jail.
