Everett Murder Victim Identified, Was Stabbed – Update 10:45am with photo

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s office this morning identified the man found dead in the yard of an Everett home this week as 23-year-old Luis Verduzco of Everett. The Medical Examiner says he died as a result of a stab wound to the trunk. Everett Police Detectives are looking into the likelihood that the assault that caused Luis’s death occurred at a different location than where he was found.

A photo of the victim is attached in the hopes that someone who knows him or who may have seen him in the last four or five days will contact Everett detectives and help in the efforts to solve this homicide.

Witnesses can either call 911 and advise an officer of what they know, call the Everett Police Department business number at (425) 257 – 8400 and ask for the Major Crime Unit or as always the TIP LINE at (425) 257- 8450.
