The exercise is scheduled to occur between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. The base North Gate will be closed to commercial vehicles between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>During the exercise, those near the base may hear mass warning announcements from the base&#8217;s outdoor speakers.<\/p>\n<p>The exercise will include security activity near the gates, active emergency response vehicles, and blank rounds. No live ammunition will be used.<\/p>\n<p>The Navy regularly conducts training exercises to maintain and improve security and emergency response qualifications.
