A look at the car after it burst into flames. Reader submitted photo via Twitter @longhare1.

Police are still looking into what caused a woman to lose control of her car while going southbound on 19th Ave. SE near Silver Lake this afternoon and crash into a tree and on top of a power box. It happened in the Chevron station at 110th and 19th. The car burst into flames and bystanders were able to pull the woman to safety.

The crash cut power to the traffic lights at both 110th and 19th SE as well as 112th and 19th SE. As of 3:50 PM Everett Police were still doing traffic control as PUD crews work to restore power to the intersections.

Medics from Everett Fire transported the woman to Providence Regional Medical Center. Everett Police listed her injuries as critical. No word yet on if there was a mechanical problem with the vehicle or if she might have had a medical issue.

Amazing no one else was seriously injured. Here are some photos of the scene.
