A Honda reported stolen earlier in the day is recovered by an Everett Police officer on Colby.<\/p><\/div>A man and woman are in jail this afternoon after they were seen getting out of and heading away from a stolen car dumped on Colby Avenue in north Everett.<\/p>\n

A citizen called 9-1-1 after seeing the two leave the car near 22nd and Colby then then head to the area of Clark Park where they began changing clothes.<\/p>\n

Everett Police responded, secured the car and then followed the citizen’s directions to where the two were headed through the park. After a positive I.D. the two were booked in to the Snohomish County Jail for felony possession of a stolen vehicle and a woman was able to get her stolen car back.<\/p>\n

Just goes to show good stuff happens when citizens and Everett Police are able to work together. The two are expected to make their first court appearance on Monday.<\/p>\n
