Economic Alliance Snohomish County (EASC) announces People-centered AI: Boosting Productivity Without Replacing Jobs, the next installment in the Coffee Chats series, in partnership with 425 Business, on Tuesday, Oct. 13.
This session will focus on real-world business applications and workforce impacts of artificial intelligence and what effective AI adoption looks like to enhance productivity and support the existing workforce.
“Artificial intelligence is a high-impact tool requiring a thoughtful strategy around building a strong data foundation and prioritizing skills development,” says Mark Johnson, Washington APEX Accelerator Advisor and session moderator.
“AI can make your workforce more productive, but only if you invest in developing AI fluency and subject matter expertise to validate the work at every stage of adoption and implementation.”
Rather than centering on automation for its own sake, the discussion will highlight responsible implementation, upskilling strategies and change management approaches that keep people at the center of innovation.
This session is ideal for employers, HR and operations leaders, technology professionals, workforce and education partners, small businesses and community stakeholders interested in understanding how AI can support both business growth and workforce resilience. Panel participants will be announced shortly via EASC channels.
People-centered AI: Boosting Productivity Without Replacing Jobs will take place via Zoom and simulcast on Facebook on Tuesday, Oct. 13, from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Coffee Chats are free to join; however, registration is required to join the call and participate in the conversation. Registrants also receive all the session’s resources via email after the event. To RSVP, click this link: https://bit.ly/
