South Everett Stabbing and Body Found Near Silver Lake

Busy day for law enforcement in Everett today. Two separate unrelated incidents.

There was a reported stabbing around noon near Madison Street and Evergreen Way in South Everett today, according to Snohomish County Scanner report.

8/18 Update: Everett Police say following a preliminary investigation, officers determined there was a physical fight on a transit bus and no injuries were observed by officers. One may have been arrested by SCSO for unlawful transit conduct.

In what we believe is an unrelated story, around 8:30 this morning Everett Police responded to a deceased male near Silver Lake in Everett, discovered by a community member.

At this time, the death does not appear suspicious in nature, but the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office has custody of the body and will determine the cause of death.
