Person Hanging from Overpass This Morning Taken into Custody

Person hanging on the side of the overpass.

Around 8 AM this morning both directions of I-5 were blocked for a pedestrian on the ledge of the overpass.

All lanes on I-5 Northbound and Southbound, just north of 128th Street SW in Snohomish County near Everett were shut down for officers to work with the person on the side of the bridge.

The person was taken into custody by Washington State Patrol officers.

From the traffic cam, you can see a figure in black outside the pedestrian fencing, hanging below the walkway with several officers below.
