Schack Art Center’s Fresh Paint Festival is Back August 15–16

Schack Art Center invites the community to celebrate creativity at the annual Fresh Paint Festival, returning to downtown Everett on Saturday, August 15, and Sunday, August 16, 2026.

The free, family-friendly festival transforms the streets surrounding Schack Art Center into a vibrant outdoor gallery featuring original artwork, live demonstrations, interactive art experiences, dance, food, and activities for all ages.

Fresh Paint is one of Snohomish County’s largest celebrations of the visual arts, bringing together artists and visitors for a weekend that highlights the region’s creative community while supporting local artists and businesses.

“Fresh Paint offers something you can’t experience at every festival,” said Raedle Alburn, Executive Director of Schack Art Center.

“Visitors have the opportunity to meet artists, watch them demonstrate their craft, ask questions, and gain a deeper understanding of the time, skill, and creativity behind every piece of art. We hope people leave not only inspired, but with a greater appreciation for the value of original artwork and the artists who create it.”

Fresh Paint Festival highlights include:

  • Original artwork available for purchase from over 100 regional artists
  • Live glassblowing for the public in Schack’s Hot Shop
