The male pictured here in the purple shirt escaped from the Snohomish County Superior Courthouse (3000 Rockefeller Ave, Everett) around 2:30 p.m. today.
He escaped following a hearing where a judge informed him he would be taken into custody. However, he escaped the courthouse with out being put in custody.
UPDATE 8/7/26: Snohomish County Violent Offender Task Force (VOTF) located and arrested 39-year-old Kyle Hester. His hair had been died green, likely to avoid detection.
The Snohomish County Sherriff’s Office has probable cause for Escape 1. The man is 39-year-old Kyle Hester.
Deputies have identified the female also pictured.
Anyone with immediate information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911.
