Port of Everett and Schack Art Center’s Float Find 2026 Starts Today

The Port of Everett and Schack Art Center’s Float Find 2026 starts tomorrow, July 10th and continues through August 28th, featuring a free, eight-week-long treasure quest in search of one-of-a-kind, locally blown glass floats hidden around the Port of Everett’s Waterfront Place and Jetty Island destinations.at Waterfront Place and Jetty Island.

In total, over 200 unique glass floats will be hidden for the public to find. The floats will be hidden every Friday. 10 shoreside at Waterfront Place and 20 beachside at Jetty Island.

Here are some helpful rules and reminders to help you have a successful float find:

  • Clue balls will be hidden in the Port’s parks, plazas, and public spaces and will NOT be inside businesses, in construction areas or parking lots, in the water, on docks, or more than 6 feet off the ground (see map in the comments below).
  • Floats will be hidden on Jetty Island by the time of the first ferry run. Buy Jetty Island Ferry tickets online at www.portofeverett.com/JettyReservations
  • Clues will be posted around noon on the Port social media pages on our Stories. Make sure you’re following us! Those are the ONLY clues that will be given – businesses do not have any additional clues to share.
  • Finder’s keeper’s! We ask that people limit themselves to one float per person to give others have a chance to find one too.
  • Tag @portofeverertt and @schackartcenter with your Float Finds for a chance to be featured and tag #floatfind.
  • Schack Art Center will be at Pacific Rim Plaza on Fridays from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. with a float sale and kids activities.
