Celebrating its 57th year, the Lake Stevens Aquafest returns earlier in the month than normal. It usually runs the last weekend in July, bumped it earlier to finally have a carnival with rides, which went missing since the COVID years.
Aquafest is one of the Pacific Northwest’s largest summer waterfront festivals. Three days of parades, carnival, live music, fireworks, and family fun.
Highlights include:
- Carnival: Davis Shows NW returns with rides, games, and fun for all ages. Opens a day early on July 9th!
- Grand Parade: The highlight of Aquafest — colorful floats, marching bands, and community groups parading through downtown Lake Stevens. There’s also a children’s parade on Friday.
- Live Music: Live performances on the main stage all weekend long, capped off by the spectacular fireworks display over the lake.
- Other Entertainment: Includes a Hypnotic Show, movies in the park (Gremlins),
- 100+ Vendors: Arts, crafts, food, and merchandise from local and regional vendors. Something for everyone.
- Water Activities: Boat parade, stand-up paddleboard, try rowing, and the Quadrathon multi-sport challenge on beautiful Lake Stevens.
- Car Show: Classic, modern, custom, and everything in between.
- Sports: Aquarun, 3-on-3 basketball tournament, diaper race, eating contests. $50 boat race, dog agility,
- Fireworks: The grand finale of Saturday! A spectacular fireworks display over the lake, visible from North Cove Park and the surrounding shoreline.
