Vegetation Fire This morning at Forest Creek Apartments on W Casino Rd.

Initial callers reported bushes on fire next to the building, with flames beginning to extend to the exterior.

Firefighters arrived and found the brush fire had spread to the outside of the building. Crews extinguished the fire within five minutes of arriving on scene.

Firefighters checked nearby apartments to make sure no one was injured. The fire damage was limited to the exterior of the building, and no injuries were reported.

Everett Fire wants to thank the callers who quickly reported the fire. Their quick action allowed firefighters to intervene before the fire spread inside the apartments or caused more damage.

This is a good reminder that early reporting helps firefighters respond quickly and protect lives and property. If you see smoke or fire, call 911 immediately.

COMMUNITY INFORMATION- EMS LEVY

An Emergency Medical Services levy measure will appear on the Aug. 4, 2026, ballot for Everett voters. If approved, the measure would restore the EMS levy rate from approximately $0.36 to $0.50 per $1,000 of assessed value, the rate previously approved by voters in 2018, to support emergency medical services provided by Everett Fire.
