Kari Petrasek was sworn in on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 as president of the Rotary Club of Everett, in Changing of the Guard ceremonies conducted at the club’s weekly meeting. She will serve throughout the new Rotary year, July 2026 through June 2027.
A Rotarian since 2017, Petrasek will lead the club in its 109th year, providing community and international service under the new Rotary theme: “Create Lasting Impact.” She assumes club leadership from Kelli Thode, a former employee of the American Red Cross.
Also inducted were president-elect, Anna Marie Laurence; vice president, Krissy Davis; treasurer, Janice Ellis; past president and secretary, Neil Angst; and past president and chair of the Everett Rotary Youth Foundation board, Tammy Dunn.
New to the board of directors and serving from July 2026 through June 2028 are Glen Bachman, Clay Browse, Lynsey Gagnon, and Jennifer Hem. Board members continuing in the second year of their terms are Ashley Bolden, Krissy Davis, Janice Ellis, and Greg Tisdel. Ryan Willis, Marybeth Dingledy, Will McMahan, and Kari Quaas are retiring from the board.

The club has also organized and funded economic, water supply and literacy projects in the Dajabon district of the Dominican Republic. Club members represent a broad spectrum of business, governmental, charitable and public service occupations and support many service projects in the Everett community and around the world. The club is currently holding combination in-person/online meetings.
