Over the weekend the NOAH Center responded to a call for help from an elderly woman living in a small trailer with her 60 cats.
On Monday night they took in 32 moms and kittens and made a plan to work with the homeowner to get her remaining adult cats spayed or neutered.
This unexpected emergency intake combined with their regular kitten season influx means they urgently need to replenish our their kitten and cat food supply.
6/3/26 UPDATE from NOAH:
“Our team is so thankful that your news agency picked up our recent story and plea for kitten food. Just an update, we have more than reached our goal!
We have received over 400 boxes of donated food since last Thursday (5/28).
We are so overwhelmed with gratitude at the level of support this wonderful community has shown the animals at The NOAH Center.
Since our shelves are so full of kitten food now, we’d like to encourage anyone still interested in supporting to make a general donation online. in lieu of physical kitten food/supplies.”

Mom’s Last Litter
Mom’s Last Litter is a program at NOAH designed to help pet owners safely and responsibly respond to accidental pregnancies and prevent future pregnancies.
Owners agree to foster the entire litter of puppies and kittens until each reaches the age and size required for spay/neuter surgery. At this time, the entire litter and the mother (as well as father, if owned) come to The NOAH Center to receive spay/neuter surgeries.
