Oddly enough, two separate arrests this past weekend in Everett involved passed-out occupants of stolen vehicles containing drug paraphernalia and illegal guns.
This past weekend, Central Everett officers were conducting routine patrols when they found a white F-150 with no license plates parked at an apartment complex in the 2500 block of Howard Ave. A male was slumped over in the driver’s seat of the vehicle with drug paraphernalia in his lap.
The male was detained, and the vehicle was determined to be stolen. Inside the vehicle, officers located a loaded, stolen AR-15 and a loaded ghost gun.
A male was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm in the 2nd Degree. His bail was set to $100,000.
Additionally, this weekend, North Everett officers were dispatched to a report of a male slumped over in a running vehicle near California St and Rucker Ave.
Officers arrived and observed drug paraphernalia in the vehicle and a handgun wedged between the seat and center console.
The male occupant was determined to have an outstanding felony warrant for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle and multiple prior convictions including Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.
4/24/26 Update: the warrant was quashed on February 11th and King County’s system wasn’t updated yet.
A male was taken into custody and later booked for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm in the 2nd Degree and Physical Control of a Motor Vehicle While Under the Influence of Drugs. His bail was set to $50,000.
These incidents reflect ongoing efforts to remove illegally possessed firearms, stolen vehicles, and impaired drivers from our local neighborhoods.
Everett Police would like to thank the community member who reported one of these incidents. It is a great reminder of how impactful it is for our community members to call 911 to report concerning or dangerous behavior.
