This afternoon the third nationally organized “No Kings” protest took place in Downtown Everett. It was similar to the past two, but this time there was an anti-war focus.

Similar anti-Trump protests occurred in other Snohomish County cities, including Marysville, Shohomish, and Edmonds.

The biggest turnout was in Seattle where tens of thousands attended the rally at Cal Anderson Park.

Ironically, while Washington Governor Bob Ferguson made a stop at the Shoreline protest, a “No Kings” protest occurred in Olympia, protesting Ferguson himself.

These protestors are upset with state spending and the soon-to-be-signed first-ever income tax. The tax is targeted towards those making over a million a year, but the safeguards for eventual lowering of the income threshold were rejected.
