Here’s the press release from the SMART team:

Detectives with the Snohomish County Multiple Agency Response Team (SMART) are investigating a use of force incident that occurred on Friday, March 20, 2026, at approximately 2:30 a.m., in the 8700 block of 7th Avenue SE.
