Altercation Leads to Shooting Outside Everett Pub

The Ten-01 Pub is located at the west end of Hewitt Ave.

Officers responded to an assault outside of a pub in Downtown Everett Friday night, just before midnight.

Reports of shots fired led to a drone response and dozens of officers at the scene on the 1000 block of Hewitt Ave, just outside the Ten-01 Pub.

Everett PD shared with us that two men were involved in a dispute, during which one fired shots at the other.

One male, who was in his late 30s, sustained minor injuries. Nearby businesses did sustain damage as the result of gunfire, but no patrons inside the pub were reportedly injured.

The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival. Officers initiated a K9 track, but the suspect was not located. No one is in custody as of this writing.

The Ten-01 Pub opened up in January of 2025. Shane Ratigan is the managing partner at the Ten-01 in Everett and left us this statement:

We are startled and heartbroken with regards to the incident on Hewitt Avenue near the bar. Thankfully, no staff or patrons were injured.

The Everett Police Department has asked for and will receive our full cooperation, specifically access to security footage that may aid their investigation. We opened our business in Everett with the belief that the city is on an upward, positive trajectory; we continue to hold that belief even in light of this incident.

Two police drone flights occurred that night. The first was deployed 8 minutes before midnight with a flight time of 28 minutes.

The second flight launched 22 minutes past midnight with a 14-minute flight time.

This is an active investigation, and there are no further details at this time. Anybody having additional information about this incident is encouraged to call the Everett Police Dept. Tip Line at 425-257-8450.
