Every day is a busy day for Everett Fire Crews. At the time of writting, Everett Fire responded to 55 calls. Today featured some rather noteworty responses. Below are three of them.

House Fire:

Everett Fire was called into the scene of a residential fire at the 7500 block Upper Ridge Road around 9:45 this morning. This is a large residential area north of Casiono Road and east of Evergreen Way.

It was a 2-story home with extensive exterior home and deck damage.

All occupants were evacuated prior to firefighters responding. There are no reported injuries.

By 10:40 am crews transitioned into overhaul.The cause of the fire is currently unknown and under investigation. South County Fire helped with the effort.

Ebey Island Boat Rescue

Everett Fire and Everett Police were on the scene of a water rescue in the area of Jetty Island.

A raft capsized with four people on board. Reportedly, one person was unable to get out of the water.

Fire crews aboard Marine 1, with members from the Marine Team and Rescue Swimmers Team, made contact with all individuals.

All subjects are now out of the water, accounted for, and are being assessed by fire and EMS personnel.

SUV vs Building

Dragon Koie Tattoo & Art Studio, located at 3702 Rucker Ave in Everett, had an unexpected visitor.

A Chevy Blazer SUV crashed at the corner of 37th St and Rucker Avenue, resulting in it smashing into the tattoo shop, breaking through the two front doors, and shattering the windows.
