Interview with Kady Bach, Beast Games 2 Top 10 Finalist from Everett

February 3, 2026

People of Everett

Kady Bach, contestant #38 in Beast Games Season 2.

Kady Bach is described as a reptile breeder from Everett, Washington. Out of 400,000 applicants, Kady was chosen to be one of the 200 contestants on Beast Games 2.

If you aren’t familiar with Beast Games, it is a collaboration between Amazon and the most popular YouTubber, Mr. Beast. It’s a very ambitious, high stake reality show. In season one they gave away approximately $25 million.

The theme for season 2 was smart vs strong. Contestant #38, Kady, started on team smart. The season is far enough along that we know she makes it into at least the top 10, if not further. New episodes drop every Wednesday on Amazon Prime Video.

Not only did Kady solidify a placement in the top 10, but was one of the lucky contestants who flew to the island where Survivor is filmed, meet Jeff Probst, and participate in a real Survivor challenge.

My Everett News interviewed Kady and her are her responses:

What reptiles do you breed and where do you sell them?

One of Kady’s Juvenile Western Hognose snakes for sale.

I primarily breed Western Hognose Snakes, along with a small number of ball pythons and Emerald tree skinks. Most of my sales are online through MorphMarket (Rootball Exotics). I purchase some supplies from the Reptile Emporium on Hewitt, though I have not sold animals through a retail shop yet.

I prefer to keep the personal connection between the breeder and new snake owner. That way I know the animal is going to a good home and can personally provide support with animal husbandry if needed.

I recently started selling via live video on Palmstreet which supports both plants and reptiles.

I also understand you breed more than just reptiles. What other animals have you bred?

I have bred rabbits in the past and sold them locally, but we are currently taking a temporary break from that. I also breed and hybridize rare collector plants called Anthuriums as well as other aroids.

I created my own hybrid crosses and have sold them to collectors across the United States. My goal is to create stunning foliage plants that look amazing every day instead of just when in bloom. You can find some of my collection on Instagram.

You were one of the contestants who flew to Fiji to compete on the set of Survivor. What was that like?

We had no idea we were doing anything Survivor-related until we arrived by boat and saw Jeff Probst on the beach. I was completely shocked, and he immediately hugged me before we went straight into the competition. It felt unreal.

As Sue has said, challenges often come down to the puzzle, and that part carries the most pressure. I do well staying calm in high-pressure situations, so I was willing to take on that role. We made up a lot of progress, but unfortunately we were still five puzzle pieces away. The voting was difficult, but I was still very happy to be part of the experience. Ultimately, it came down to their speeches.

You spent a lot of time with Jeffrey Allen (the season 1 winner). How much did that mean to you?

Kady handcuffed to Season 1 winner, Jeff Allen.

I will always be incredibly thankful for Jeff. You never really know if someone will be the same in person as they are on television, but he truly is an honorable, skilled, and incredibly intelligent human.

We expected to play a fair game in the Cubes, but it speaks volumes that he volunteered to self-sacrifice so Hannah and I could continue our experience, even though his fight to cure Creatine Transporter Deficiency is still ongoing. It takes far more than ten million dollars to cure a disease.

Anyone who would like to help can donate here. If someone is unable to donate but still wants to support the cause, they can follow Jeff on Instagram and help spread awareness.

After the Cubes, I trusted Nick and Auguste even more because of Jeff.

In Episode 6, you hung from a rope one hundred feet in the air. How scary was that?

Kady lasted a long time on the ropes.

I have always been wary of heights, so the challenge was incredibly shocking and uncomfortable. Hanging from the pole the first time was petrifying and one of the craziest things I have ever done.

I was shaking, not just from muscle fatigue. After getting on and off so many times, the fear of heights started to fade as I focused more on what my body was capable of. That challenge and the giant blocks challenge were 2 of my favorites because it pushed us outside our comfort zones and made the experience even more exciting.

What was it like living in Beast City? Who are you still friends with today?

Beast City. Photo Courtesy of Prime.

Living in Beast City felt like a dream come true. I spent a lot of time playing board games and connecting with other contestants. The food and overall experience were amazing.

I am still friends with many people from the city, but I formed my closest connections with the girls in my pod and the contestants I spent time playing board games with. I was very grateful for the time between challenges to create more memories and destress. A funny memory I have is playing 2 truths and a lie with the other contestants. While playing, I had the thought that (in the future) it will be way harder for people to guess my lie after being on Beast Games!

Episode 7 has not been released yet, but the teaser shows friends or family joining you. How special was that?

In the teaser, you can see us having dinner together. After not seeing them for so long, it meant everything to have that moment. My worlds came together in the best way. I was so happy they could see the city and that we could create such a meaningful memory together. I cried many tears of happiness.

Is there a story behind why you go by Kady?

My full name is Katherine, but when we were little, my sister made me a bracelet and spelled it Kady. I liked it, and it stuck. I do get asked if I was named after Daisy Duke quite often. To my knowledge, I was not, but I am honored to share the name.

We haven’t seen you talk much so far on the show. Is that your personality or the edit?

I was shy as a kid, but I have opened up much more as an adult. I still like to think about what i say before i speak, such as how it may affect those around me. I did share my opinions, reactions, and conversations with other contestants, but there is so much footage that has to be condensed into relatively short episodes.

Because of that, some of the bigger personalities naturally received more airtime. I genuinely enjoy watching them and think they add a lot of humor to the show.

Anything else you would like to share?

Everyone should make sure to watch the Behind the Scenes bonus content on Prime Video. If you have ever considered applying for a show like this, do it. Take the leap, because you never know how far you might make it.

Don’t forget to check out Beast Games, which releases every Wednesday, including episode 7 on February 4th. Let’s cheer on Kady!
