Stabbing in Downtown Everett

2600 Block of Wetmore Ave

At approximately 1 am this morning, Everett Police and Everett Fire responded to a reported stabbing in the 2600 block of Wetmore Ave in Downtown Everett.

The stabbing occured behind the Catholic Community Services Recovery Center.

The victim, a male in his 30s, was transported to the hospital by the Everett Fire Department Medic 1.

The suspect, a male in his 20s, initially fled the scene but was later located and arrested.

He was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for Assault 1. The suspect’s name is Gabriel Imre Johns from Everett. He is being held on a $5,000 bond.

This is an active investigation and there are no further details at this time.
