Most neighborhoods in Snohomish County experienced firework celebrations around them on New Year’s Eve, but a couple people in Gold Bar had experienced the fireworks in a much more painful way.
16700 block of May Creek Rd
Just before midnight on December 31st, 2025, Sky Valley Fire emergency crews found two car occupants with serious burns and lacerations at the 16700 block of May Creek Road in Gold Bar.
The two victims were transported to the hospital and their injuries and vehicle indicated the fireworks exploded in their car.
The Snohomish County Sheriff is investigating the incident. No information about the two occupants has been released yet.
