If you aren’t familiar with the sport, it takes its inspiration from quidditch in the Harry Potter universe. It’s a physical co-ed game with different positions, and four different balls—a mix between rugby, basketball, and dodge ball.
US Quadball will return to Snohomish County for the 2026 USQ West National Qualifier at Kasch Park in Everett.
After hosting a successful Quadballfest earlier this month in Snohomish County, USQ will partner with the Snohomish County Sports Commission once again. The 2026 West National Qualifier will take place at Kasch Park on March 7-8, 2026.
“Working with the Snohomish County Sports Commission has been a pleasure since day one. Their commitment to growing quadball and supporting our athletes was evident throughout the planning for and during our recent Quadballfest, and we’re excited to build on that momentum as we bring the 2026 West National Qualifier to Kasch Park,” said USQ CEO Amanda Dallas.
Here’s a video explaining how Quadball works:
USQ previously released the host locations and dates for four other 2026 USQ National Qualifiers. These regional tournaments will determine which collegiate and club teams earn bids to USQ Cup 2026, the league’s national championship, taking place April 18-19 in Placer Valley, Calif.
The previously confirmed national qualifiers are:
- Garland, Texas at Winters Park Soccer Complex on Jan. 31-Feb. 1, 2026
- York County, S.C. at Catawba Park on Feb. 21-22, 2026
- Howard County, Md. at Troy Park at Elkridge on Feb. 28-March 1, 2026
- Champaign County, Ill. at Champaign on March 7-8, 2026
Each event will feature two days of competition between collegiate and club teams, with the top finishers earning coveted bids to compete in the Club Competitive or College Division One portions of USQ Cup.
Ticketing is now live for each of these events. The registration deadline for all national qualifiers is Dec. 1. Interested teams can sign up on usquadball.org.
