Just before noon today, the Everett Fire Department responded to a report of a vehicle that crashed into a home in South Everett near Kasch Park.

Upon arrival at the 9700 block of 18th Avenue West, firefighters found two people injured. One was the driver of the Silver Hyundai Tuscon SUV and was the resident at their home who was struck by debris.

Both patients were transported to Providence Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Everett Police Department is investigating the collision. Photo evidence shows the SUV crashed completely through the concrete pillar and wooden support beam. The front of the house has a large hole where the car punched through.

As we head into the holiday season and continue to see wet, rainy weather, Everett Fire reminds everyone to slow down, use your turn signal, put your phone away, wear your seatbelt, stay alert, and give yourself extra stopping distance on the roads. Safe driving helps protect you, your passengers, and our community.
