Community Transit Youth Art Contest Could Featured on a Bus

Grab your markers, paints, crayons or tablet—whatever is your jam—it’s time to let your imagination roll!

Community Transit is excited to launch the “Design Together, Discover TogetherYouth Art Contest, open to Snohomish County youth ages 5–18.

The theme of the contest is “Riding Transit with Friends.

Now through October 20th, 2025, kids and teens can submit their original artwork for a chance to win gift cards or see their work featured where everyone can admire it: on a Community Transit bus.

How It Works:

Who can enter: Snohomish County youth, ages 5–18
When: October 6–20
Prizes: Gift cards for winners in three age categories
Big bonus: Winning artwork displayed on Community Transit buses

Whether you love doodling superheroes, painting nature scenes, or dreaming up bold new digital designs, this is your chance to share your talent with the whole community.

Rules:

  • Art must be original in concept, design, and execution.
  • Do not use filters, stickers, or non-original art assets.
  • Art must not be a copy of someone else’s work and must not violate copyright laws. (see full official rules below).

Community Transit provides bus and paratransit service, vanpool, and innovative transit options in Snohomish County, Wash. The agency is expanding the Swift bus rapid transit network to connect to light rail and provide fast, frequent service throughout the county.
