Las Tres Beautifuls Boutique, a family-owned boutique shop based in Everett, fell victim to organized crime last week.
Four women who are part of a group that scams small business owners and the public set their sights on Las Tres Beautifuls Boutique. They came into the store, attempted to distract Eli Vazquez, and then stole $2,500 worth of dresses right in front of her.

23-year-old Vazquez tried stopping them. The first two women pulled her hair and tried to hold her back. When she broke free and called 911, they started hitting her and pushing her, then hit her with their van.

One of the suspects was holding a child, and two of them were spotted at a wedding the next day by Street Scammer Watch, a group that tracks scammers across state lines:
“Yes, we’re familiar with the suspects, they are all confirmed street scammers pictured countless times on our page pretending to be beggars.”
Eli Vazquez and her mom were featured in our meet-the-owner series about the events they put on.
One annual event they host is “Beautiful Catrinas,” an event where local teens are showcased, dancing in Catrina makeup and traditional gowns.
They raffle the dresses to help make a teen’s birthday wish come true. Vazquez said losing the gown is both an emotional and financial blow.
