IB World Schools share a common philosophy: a commitment to high-quality, challenging, and international education. This commitment is one that both CHS and Everett Public Schools believe is essential for their students.
The IB Diploma Program is a two-year course sequence during a student’s junior and senior years. CHS will provide guidance for students in grades 8-10 that will prepare them for the IB Diploma Program that begins their junior year of high school.
Through the Diploma Program, schools are able to develop students who:
- Have excellent breadth and depth of knowledge
- Flourish physically, intellectually, emotionally and ethically
- Study at least two languages
- Excel in traditional academic subjects
- Explore the nature of knowledge through the programme’s unique theory of knowledge course
Other IB World Schools in the area include Edmonds-Woodway, Ingraham, and Inglemoor high schools.
Interested parents and students can attend an upcoming information night to learn more about the IB Diploma Program.
