Fred Meyer is having trouble staying out of the news. At approximately 2:45 p.m. today, officers responded to a collision of a vehicle into a building in the 12900 block of 19th Ave SE.
This one is not nearly as bad as the car vs building crash that happened in 2022 at the South Everett location that will be closing in October.
The building is the Fred Meyers on Murphy’s Corner, and the vehicle crashed into one of the Country Cleaners, one of four tenants that run a shop in front of the store.
Thankfully, no one was hurt as a result of this incident. The driver remained on the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
This is an active investigation and there are no further details at this time.
