Rucker Ave Shut Down for Investigation

Early this morning the Washington State Patrol was conducting a DUI investigation in South Everett.

During this investigation, the involved vehicle fled from law enforcement and proceeded northbound on Rucker Avenue.

The vehicle eventually crashed into a building in the 4300 block of Rucker Ave around 2:30 in the morning.

Two adult male subjects occupied the vehicle at the time of the crash. One was pronounced dead at the scene.

The additional occupant was transported to the hospital.

The 4300 block of Rucker Ave was closed in both directions (from about 43rd to 47th) for several hours while detectives from the Traffic Safety Unit are on scene.
