Evergreen State Fair Kicks Off – Here’s What’s Happening

Evergreen State Fair Carnival

The Evergreen State Fair in Monroe starts the festivities this sunny weekend. The fair officially opened yesterday, but the first surge of visitors starts today.

Grandstand Entertainment (tickets needed):

The Grandstands offer Evergreen Speedway events and concerts during the 11-day Evergreen State Fair. Tickets are on sale now here and resale tickets here.

  • Show Monster Trucks, Rangers, Youth Hornets, Buses, and Megasaurus
    • Friday, August 22: 5:40 pm
    • Saturday, August 23: 4:50 pm
    • Sunday, August 24: 1:50 pm
  • Wynonna Judd with special guest The Carlile Family Band, Monday, August 25: 7:30 pm
  • Tommy James and the Shondells (Rock), Tuesday, August 26: 7:30 pm
  • Evergreen Boot Scootin’ Bash with DJ Jen and Aaron Crawford, Thursday, August 28: 6 pm

Stone Temple Pilots will be performing at the State Fair

  • Stone Temple Pilots (Alternative Rock), Friday, August 29: 7:30 pm
  • Street Stocks, Super Stock Figure 8’s, Mini Stocks, Stinger 8’s and Outlaw Figure 8’s, Saturday, August 30: 6 pm
  • Demo Derby, Hornets, Youth Hornets, NW Bump to Pass, Mini Bump to Pass, Boat Races, Buses and Fireworks. Sunday, August 31: 6 pm (doors 2 p.m.) NEW FOR 2025** Sections D & E are reserved seating only!
  • Speedway Auto X, Monday, September 1: 12 pm Free with paid fair admission

Lumberjack at the Evergreen State Fair

Every Day around the Grounds (Free with admission):

  • International Lumberjack Show #409 Frontierland: 12 p.m., 4 p.m., 7 p.m. (no 7 pm show on Labor Day)
  • Aztec Indian Dancers #418 Frontierland in front of the Longhouse: 2 p.m., 6 p.m. (no 6 pm show on Labor Day)
  • Shannahan Cabin Historical #402: 10:30 a.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Duck Races #622 (east of the Western Heritage Center): 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m.
  • Antique Tractor Display & Pedal Tractors #638 (east of the pavilion): 10:30 a.m.–8 p.m.
  • Western Heritage Center #611: 10:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
  • Shopping: 10:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. Gary D. Weikel Event Center (Bldg. 604) 10:30 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. Outdoor Vendors

Fair Hours:

  • August 21-26 and August 28-31 10:30 am to 10 pm (carnival 11 am to 11 pm)
  • August 27: Fair closed
  • September 1, Labor Day 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. (carnival 11am – 7pm)

Cost: 

  • Regular (13-64 yrs.): $16 Weekdays and Labor Day/$18 Weekend
  • Seniors (65-89 yrs.); Military with ID; Youth (6-12 yrs.): $13 any day
  • Seniors (90+) and kids 5 yrs. and under: Free
  • Parking: $15 per entry (There are ADA parking spaces in all parking lots).

Gate Admission Specials:

  • Senior Day: Monday, August 25, $7 tickets for ages 65-89 (90+ always free!)
  • Kids Day: Tuesday, August 26, $7 tickets for ages 6-12 (5 and under always free!)
