Garfield Park will be renovated in 2026.
Exciting changes are on the way for the Garfield Park Playground at 2300 Walnut St. in North Everett. Renovation is planned for 2026, staying within the footprint of the existing playground.
The City has determined the current playground has outlived its life cycle per City standards, so it’s time for a fresh start.
Fill out the survey to help determine what types of playground equipment will be at Garfield Park in the future.
The project will include the removal of the existing wood fiber surfacing, replacing it with updated materials and new playground features for a safer, more enjoyable and inclusive play space.
Only the playground area will be renovated. All other park features will remain unchanged.
The City of Everett is looking for the community’s input. Help shape a design that reflects the needs and dreams of our community. Help weigh in on choices, like the type of surface and the types of playground equipment.
