On August 1st at 10:25 a.m., a fire broke out on a boat at the Fuel Dock at the Port of Everett Marina. Four people and a dog were safely evacuated.
The vessel was a 32-foot boat, carrying up to 300 gallons of fuel.
The good news is that there was no apparent leak or oil spill, and the Port of Everett is assessing minimal damage to the dock.
Everett Fire and the Everett Police Department extinguished the fire.
The vessel was towed away from the fuel dock, which was able to re-open at 3pm.
